Peer-Review Policy

We As a Tikrit Journal of Nursing, we strive to provide the greatest academic articles available to our audience. Because we want to ensure that all contributions are judged on their relevance, originality, and relevance, we expect our journal editors to do just that.
In addition to ensuring that authors and contributions are appropriately acknowledged, that there are no conflicts of interest, and that any reference to the work of others is properly cited, entries must also be reviewed on the basis of academic merit.

The peer review process is an important part of the editorial process (and the final decision to publish or not). At Tikrit Journal of Nursing, we support a "double-anonymous" peer-review process (the author does not know who the reviewer is and vice versa). We believe this method ensures maximum integrity in the review process, which greatly reduces the chances of conflicts of interest or manipulation. However, we expect the TJOS editors responsible for the review process to be able to identify signs of manipulation or bad intentions. To make this method work and protect the privacy of everyone who participates, any personal information must be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.

We also recommend that editors and reviewers familiarize themselves with COPE’s Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.
